    At Powerfitness, we understand the demands that exercise and lifestyles place on the body, and are equipped to deal with any problems you may have. Utilising experts in their fields, we can assist in getting you prepared for Training, and training hard, again!

    This will suit if you're constantly having exercise induced:
    Back pain, Sciatica, Feet, ankle and Achilles problems, Knee and Hamstring trouble, Shoulder, Scapula and Rotator Cuff discomfort, Head and Neck aches.

    Where do we Start?

    Firstly, you must book into an individual musculoskeletal assessment. This is where we do a physical assessment, to determine the path that we are going to take with you. We may utilise 1 or more of the following paths :
    Physiotherapist Chiropractor Myotherapist
    Masseur Exercise Physiologist
    Biomechanist Sports Physician.
    Once a path is determined here, we can then discuss your goals, and your program design. You are also taught breathing techniques and how to engage your core correctly.
    From this assessment, the instructor designs an individual exercise program for your specific needs. The package includes : A consultation about : your goals , your program design and our expectations A postural screening assessment A medical assessment form An education based first session, where you orient yourself with the gym floor, routine, instruction and most importantly , get to meet your trainer.

  • What will you need to bring?

  • You will need to wear something that is comfortable to move freely in, and perhaps , lightly sweat.
    Powerfitness will provide water and towels for you.
    Your choice of footwear is very important to exercise, and we can provide guidance to complement your exercise routine.

  • Week 1

  • Consultation and Orientation / Postural Assessment and Screening / Up to 2 x Sessions with an allied Health Professional / Program Design / 2 x Practice Sessions

  • Week 2

  • Implement rehabilitation program x 2/ 1 session with Allied Health Professional / up to 2 x Practice Sessions

  • Week 3

  • 2 x Training Sessions / 1 x Introductory Massage 1 hour / Unlimited Practice Sessions / 1 x Session with Allied Health Professional

  • Week 4

  • 2 x Training Session with focus on Program goals / unlimited practice sessions

  • Week 5

  • 2 x Training Session with focus on Program goals / unlimited practice sessions

  • Week 6

  • 1 x Training Session / Unlimited Practice Sessions / Final visit with Allied Health Professional

  • This is an ideal follow up to those who have recently come out of Injury, or have just completed the Rehabilitation and Injury Prevention Module. The focus here is getting your body to stabilise, and hold form whilst under mild duress.
    Here, you will learn to :
    Understand when your body is in condition to train, or on the verge of reinjury learn form, control and engaging the correct muscles.
    Recorrect yourself through passive stretching and alignment techniques.
    Learn about Recovery.
    The package includes :
    A consultation about : your goals , your program design and our expectations.
    A postural screening assessment and follow up A medical assessment form.
